Just look at her now though.
In the first movie, she was white as a sheet, with fake colours, hair and emotions.
She looks more natural in the second movie because Katniss and Peeta inspired her, and she felt close to them. Now that they’re being ripped away from her, she doesn’t love the Capitol enough to smile.
She’s burning with fear and anger and sorrow.
now this is what i call minor character development at it’s finest
I LITERALLY CANNOT JUST SCROLL PAST THIS POST IT’S PROBABLY THE TENTH TIME I’VE REBLOGGED IT TODAY NO JOKE
I don’t know if you guys believe in or know anything about Monarch butterflies, but I have been doing my own personal research on them for the past couple of years and this dress is very symbolic! According to a few sources, Monarch butterflies stand for hope, rebirth, new beginning, resurrection, and transition. I feel as if this dress represents her character OH SO WELL. It is also used for other symbols which is not so irrelevant but not worth discussing on this post.

don’t talk to me about struggle until your headphones only work if you hold them in a certain position

humans are so cute, when we say goodbye we put our arms around each other and to show we love someone we bring them flowers. we say hello by holding each other’s hand, and sometimes tiny little dewdrops form in our eyes. for pleasure we listen to arrangements of sounds, press our lips together, smoke dried leaves, get drunk off of old fruit. we’re all just little animals, falling in love and having breakfast beneath billions of stars :~)
why is it so easy to stay awake until 6 am but so hard to wake up at 6 am
Things in motion tend to stay in motion, while things at rest tend to stay at rest.
